The single origin reserve batch is a small batch coffee that is roasted to order. This is the personal collection of beans from Garrett, the expert roaster. Garrett carefully selects the best coffee beans from around the world and roasts them in small batches.
Washed preparation with coffee grown between 1700-2200m. Sun dried on raised beds with a tasting score 0f 86.
Coffee started in Ethiopia. Not just historically — it still starts there every single morning for a lot of the world. The Yirgacheffe region is home to some of the oldest heirloom cultivars on the planet, grown by smallholder farmers at elevations where the air is thin and the soil is rich. We source Grade 2 beans, washed and sun dried on raised beds, which gives them a cleaner, more consistent cup than unwashed coffees. What you get is light and alive — honeysuckle, jasmine, walnut — with a heavy body that surprises you. Scored an 86. Earned it!
