The single origin reserve batch is a small batch coffee that is roasted to order. This is the personal collection of beans from Garrett, the expert roaster. Garrett carefully selects the best coffee beans from around the world and roasts them in small batches.
The Papa New Guinea Kongo is a small batch specialty grade organic coffee that is grown high altitudes in the mountains. The medium roast coffee has notes of apricots, chocolate & toffee.
Behind the Beans:
High in the Highlands of Papua New Guinea, at elevations above 1,600 metres, Simbu Province is home to some of the country’s finest smallholder Arabica coffee. Introduced in the early 1950s, coffee has become the heart of life in Simbu, providing an essential source of income for generations of families and communities.
Today, the province produces around 7,000 metric tons of Arabica each year—about 10% of Papua New Guinea’s total production. Through generations of care and a commitment to quality, Simbu has earned a reputation for exceptional coffee.
We carefully select and roast our finest beans to showcase the unique character of the region, with each coffee named after an iconic place in Simbu—a way of sharing the taste, land, and story of their home with you.
